So, you're sitting at Heathrow when the person next to you gets up and inadvertently tries to walk off with your laptop bag. First you think 'thief!' but then you think, 'Hang about. It's not their fault all computer bags look the same.'
That's literally how knomo started; with the realization that, if you wanted a computer bag that wasn't black, bulky and held together with velcro and zips, you were plain out of luck.
So we decided a knomo would be a bag that we would want, made from quality materials like real leather. And it wouldn't just look nice, it would actually work, with space for things like PDA's, MP3 players and those old favorites, pens and paper. We also decided to make them in different styles with different features. Because the bag a woman executive needs is probably a little different to the one that graphic designer bloke wants.
It's a simple idea really; making bags that people actually like rather than ones they have to tolerate.
